Four Gifts That You Don't Need To Wrap
Every time there's an opportunity to give a gift, do you find yourself whining about how you have to wrap it up and tie a ribbon on it? Some people actually can't be bothered with such a chore. But that is what makes gift giving all the more special.
Of course, not all gifts need to be wrapped up in special paper. In fact, there are some gifts that just can't be wrapped in paper at all. So if you have the budget to get a gift that doesn't need to be wrapped, then consider getting one of the following.
• A New House – Sure, it may seem a little bit too much to buy a home as a gift. But this is actually the perfect gift to give to your family and even to yourself. It's more like a reward for all the hard work that you have put into raising your family and taking care of yourself for the first time. And can you imagine trying to wrap up a house in special paper? That would probably cost just as much as the house itself!
• A Car – Another great family gift idea is to buy a new family car that all of you can use when you are off on short trips to the countryside or to the beach. When it comes to wrapping it up, the worst that can happen is that you tie a large ribbon around the car or wrap up the keys in a small box, which is much less of a hassle. Just like the house, a new car is another kind of reward that you can give yourself and your family. It's useful and it will be one of the better investments that you make in your lifetime.
• A Bicycle – Does Junior want to learn how to ride a bike? Or does he already know how to but wants to stop borrowing his friend's? Having a bicycle is every little boy and every little girl's dream. You don't need to wrap it up in paper, but much like the car, you can tie a ribbon on it to signify that it's a gift that you are giving to your son or daughter. This is a great gift idea not only for kids but for adults too. You might want to get a mountain bike for yourself and for your wife so that you can go riding on the paths that you always wanted to do. Now that is a memory worth creating.
• Jewelry – When it comes to buying a diamond necklace, a ring, or a real fancy watch, you don't always have to wrap these items in paper. In fact, these almost always come in their own fancy boxes anyway. The right way to give these gifts is to present them to the receiver as is and open it for them right in front of their eyes. That makes the gift giving moment all the more special for both the giver and the receiver.
